Brewing Time ("we", "the app") is a personal coffee brewing journal developed by Cihat Asir. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

2. How Your Data Is Stored

All app data (beans, recipes, settings) is stored locally on your device using SQLite. If you enable cloud sync, your data is also stored in Google Firebase Firestore under your authenticated account. Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections.

3. Cloud Sync (Optional)

Cloud sync is entirely optional. If you sign in with email/password or Google, your beans and recipes are synced to Firebase so you can access them across devices. You can sign out at any time; your local data remains on your device.

4. In-App Purchases

Brewing Time offers a one-time Pro upgrade via Apple's In-App Purchase system. Payment is processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store any payment or financial information.

5. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services:

No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are used.

6. Children's Privacy

Brewing Time is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by using the "Reset Local Storage" option in the app's Settings. If you have cloud sync enabled, signing out and deleting your account removes your data from our servers. You may also contact us to request data deletion.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
